  • “The cottage was lovely and in a wonderful position right on the river, where we could feed the ducks directly below the terrace. Unfortunately the weather was not warm enough for us to sit out on the terrace much, but ideal for walking. Tintern Abbey is absolutely beautiful. We had 4 meals in The Rose and Crown, which was excellent, especially the steaks. The Landlord was welcoming and friendly. Overall it was a wonderful, peaceful holiday.”

  • “This property is situated in a beautiful position facing the river. Properties with such commanding views are quite scarce, plus the added factor that you can take your dog, marvellous.”

  • “A most picturesque cottage with lots of space downstairs and two cosy bedrooms upstairs. The location beside the River Wye with views down stream to Tintren Abbey were perfect. The walks from the doorstep and the local hostelries all made for a very relaxing break. A cottage we would certainly book again when we want to revisit that part of the country.”
